What's Happiness?

Hey Everyone,
I told you and promised you guys this blog would be ALL about inspiration, corniness, and laughter! So I got to thinking about happiness, how do you define happiness? Is it the car you drive? The home you live in? The phone you use? OR Is it simpler than that?

Well, I want to share with you guys how I found my happiness! I'm 26 single, living at home, and going to school full time to achieve my dream job of Radiation Therapy. I have struggled with serious health issues since I was 18. I was diagnosed with a complete mal-rotation of my small and large intestine. Scary right? Well over the last 9 years I have had 7 surgeries, a bunch of hospital stays, a failed marriage, and feelings of complete loss of myself and who I was. I now have found my happiness truthfully through the one man above us ALL Jesus Christ! I'm NOT going to go into religion because NOT ALL of us believe in the same religion! But, what I'm going to say is that when I decided that I wanted to live a life full of happiness, I gave of myself to believe in life and believe the beauty of what WE have been given! ALL of that tragedy, disappointment, loss, sickness, and depression made me who I'am today. I would NEVER want my story to be re-written or changed in ANY way. Those moments have filled my heart with pure beautiful love. I love what life has given me and I love hearing ALL kinds of heart felt stories of happiness.

Life Is hard, unfair and sometimes were given circumstances that can harden our heart and take away the beauty of happiness. But, if you know deep down somewhere in your OWN heart NO MATTER what you face there will still be happiness. Once you love yourself and life happiness will NEVER be lost! I personally think WE don't stop enough sometimes and look around us at the grocery store, the mall, the restaurant, where ever we might be and watch the people around us and think to ourselves if I were to say Thank You more, or hold the door open for someone, graciously help an elder with their groceries to the car, or just simply smiling back to others. For I have found my happiness is ALWAYS being the best version of myself at ALL times. So I ask you guys how did you find your happiness? What in life has made you gracious of love and happiness? I know yesterday was a bit of a reality check when we read Shantel's tweet! "@TheRealShantel With tears in my eyes I sit down to read THE LAST episode of this epic show! Thnx Mark!" I was sitting in the Doctors office while I recieved that tweet! My surgeon's office non the less! But, we can be sad, disappointed, even mad that 'OUR' show is ending. We can also take away from this AMAZING life altering, TV show known as 'The Little Show That Could' One Tree Hill & turn it into a positive moment in 'OUR' lives. Each fan has a different story why they love the show, what it's done for the personally, how it's changed their life, and why they don't want the show to end. So I started thinking and I came up with let's celebrate One Tree Hill, Lets continue to bond more and celebrate One Tree Hill lasting nine seasons! Post comments, pictures, letters to the cast, whatever you want to post here on my blog in celebration of One Tree Hill. Let's NOT mope, be sad, and feel angry about the show ending. LET'S CELEBRATE!!! One Tree Hill will live on in 'OUR' lives FOREVER NO MATTER WHAT!!!! So get to posting here and express your celebration and your love for One Tree Hill!!!
